I think you are way off base with thinking the show is saying Muslim equals terrorist. In fact, they play on those assumptions. The truth is, when a man has been tortured by terrorists and decide to convert to their religion he is a likely terrorist himself.

We are students from mulberry school for girls, who are doing a project for gcse coursework about how muslims are portrayed in the media. we are writing to you to ask you to help us in the project by giving your opinions about whether you feel the media presents islam negatively. we would appreciate if you answer some questions :
* In the media do you see other religions presented in a negative way?
* how do you feel about muslims being portrayed in the media negativly?
* Have you ever seen an incident involving muslims being accused because of what people read in the media?
